Ginseng iced tea

I’ve had some powdered ginseng that a friend gave me in the cupboard for a while and I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. This turned out pretty well. (My sense of smell is pretty weak right now because I’m getting over a cold, so my sense of taste is off, too. But this seems like pleasant iced tea.)

2 tsp. powdered ginseng

4 tsp. green tea

1 cinnamon stick

a couple cardamom pods, crushed

lemon stevia, to taste (I used 3 stoppers full)

lemon juice, to taste

Pour 7 cups of boiling water over the ingredients. Steep for 10 minutes then strain into another container. Add the stevia and lemon juice. Chill.
